RO: There seems to be a lot of buzz surrounding your new film, Armored. Tell us about it.

Columbus Short:Well, it’s my first lead role since Stomp the Yard. I play a rookie armor truck driver that gets coerced by veteran armor truck drivers — played by Matt Dillon and Laurence Fishburne — to steal $42 million dollars. The plan starts to unravel and puts my character in a moral dilemma of doing what’s right [or] doing what’s wrong.

RO:The last time we spoke, you were hinting at a master plan for taking over the entertainment industry. Has that been going according to plan, or have you found it difficult to transition into the mainstream as a black actor?

CS:It is hard because you are constantly trying to determine how you can crossover, yet maintain the audience that got you where you are. That fine line is tough, so this year I’m also doing Death of the Funeral that has Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence. It’s a comedy, so not only is it a different genre that I haven’t really explored, it’s also a movie for our people. So I go back and forth, because I want my people to stay with me, but I also want to ... take over the game in a big way.

Has Mariah Carey's Diva Demands Gone Too Far?

We all know that Mariah Carey is a big time Diva but has she taken her Diva standings too far? Mariah was over in the UK on a promotional tour for her new single and she appeared on the morning breakfast show GMTV where she was carried to the Sofa by two members of her entourage and slowly lowered on to it. Who does she thinks she is? I guess Nick Cannon was not on hand to carry his wife to the throne. The GMTV producers were dumbfounded and the host Kate Garraway was at a total lost for words. The UK got a lot more than they bargained for when Mariah showed up and she made sure that any pictures taken of her received her best angle.

Mariah also brought her own toilet paper and she had someone walk backwards in front of her so she wouldn't fall. Her rants do not stop there. She even had the nerve to request that the faucets in her hotel suite be switch to gold along with a request for a new toilet seat. You are probably wondering if this is a joke but we assure you that it's not and she is not the only celeb out there that request such ridiculous amenities so they can be comfortable. The entertainment world is filled with celebrities who take their status to a whole new level and start demanding things just because of who they are and in the mist, they have forgotten where they came from. GMTV's, Kate Garraway, said, "I've heard a lot of rumors about her being a diva and guess what? It's all true."

Unfortunately for us, this won't be the last time we hear about Mariah being one of the biggest "Diva's" of them all. I guess if you can't sell records you have to do something in the meantime.

Tiger Woods And Wife Argued Before Car Crash

I knew there was more to the story than what was reported about Tiger Woods car accident. It looks like his wife was quite upset with rumors of another woman that hit the net and she came swinging one of his golf club's at him in the driveway. This was after she apparently scratched him in the face and that is what caused his injuries. The other woman was named in the National Enquirer as one, Rachel Uchitel, who has now reached out to a lawyer. This story will go through all sorts of twists and turns before the actual truth is revealed. There is nothing like a woman scorned.

Tiger Woods Suffered Lacerations To The Face In Accident

Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident when leaving his home at around 2:25am. Tiger was pulling out of the driveway of his Florida home when he backed into a fire hydrant and then he hit a tree in his neighbors driveway. The air bags did not deploy causing Tiger to suffer cuts to his face. He was taken to the Health Central Hospital. His rep says he suffered minor injuries and he is doing good. The police say there was not any alcohol involved and there is no further information at this time.
